Terms of Service for AnchorIt™

These Terms of Service govern your use of AnchorIt™ (“AnchorIt,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.


1. What AnchorIt Is, and Is Not

AnchorIt is a communication support tool designed to help users analyze and refine written messages for clarity and composure.

AnchorIt does not provide legal advice, strategy, or representation.
AnchorIt does not provide mental health or therapeutic services.
AnchorIt is not a substitute for an attorney, mediator, therapist, or other licensed professional.

Any output generated by AnchorIt is for informational and educational purposes only.


2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content you input into AnchorIt
  • The decisions you make based on the output
  • Any messages you choose to send or not send

You agree:

  • Not to input confidential, privileged, or identifying information, including client names, case details, or sensitive personal data
  • Not to rely on AnchorIt as a substitute for professional advice
  • To use your own judgment before acting on any output

3. Data Processing and Third-Party Services

AnchorIt is designed to process user input in real time and does not independently store submitted content.

However, your inputs are processed through third-party service providers, including Anthropic and infrastructure providers such as Render.

These providers may temporarily process or retain data in accordance with their own policies. By using AnchorIt, you acknowledge and accept this.

4. No Guarantees

AnchorIt makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy or completeness of outputs
  • Suitability for your specific situation
  • Outcomes resulting from use of the tool

Outputs are generated based on patterns and prompts. They are suggestions, not directives.


5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

AnchorIt and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your reliance on any output
  • Any communication sent, received, or interpreted using the tool

This includes, but is not limited to, legal outcomes, financial loss, reputational harm, or emotional distress.


6. Subscription, Trial, Billing, and Communications

AnchorIt offers a 14-day free trial. By starting a trial, you agree to provide valid payment information through Stripe.

At the end of the trial period:

  • Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends
  • You authorize recurring charges based on the selected plan

By subscribing, you also agree to receive occasional emails related to your account, product updates, and relevant communications. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless otherwise stated.


7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AnchorIt to:

  • Engage in unlawful, abusive, or harmful conduct
  • Generate or distribute harassment, threats, or misleading content
  • Violate the rights of others

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any misuse of the platform.


8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AnchorIt at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.


9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AnchorIt after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
